With a seven-day program, you can learn the original recipe of pasta, pizza, bread. You can also enjoy a relaxing picnic and take part in various excursions to discover rural life.
With 7 Kitchen Days you will be entitled to: 3 Master Classes in the kitchen, a wine tasting, a visit to the traditional production of ricotta with tasting of fresh cannoli, garden tours, excursions around the hotel with a meal at a typical local “trattoria”.

In June, join us for the cherry harvest. We will walk from the Masseria up to the orchard for picking the delicious cherries directly from the trees. We will enjoy a pic-nic under the threes’ shadow. The cherries will be used by our chef for making a delicious crostata that you will have at breakfast the morning after. The meeting point is the reception at 10:00 am.

We will start in the kitchen with the presence of one of our chef. You will make fresh pasta as medaglioni, ravioli, tortellini and rice with tomato sauce, that belong to Sicilian culinary tradition. The course is followed by a tasting of the dishes and a glass of wine. The lesson lasts about 2 hours.

Join our cooking class in the kitchen of Masseria Susafa. With the presence of one of our chef you will make “Sfincione” (the Palermitan street food pizza), bread and focaccia. The course is followed by a tasting of the dishes and a glass of wine. The lesson lasts about 2 hours.

Meet us for an unique experience. With us you will explore the different Sicilian territories trough wine. The three wines are paired with some food from the area. The tasting lasts about 30 minutes.

Don’t lose the chance to live an unique experience! Join us for Ricotta cheese making with a shepherd from the area. With him, we will make some cheese including Ricotta starting from the beginning and then will taste some Cannoli, the Masterpiece Sicilian dessert. You will also have chance to taste some Ricotta and Tuma freshly made.

Meet at the reception for a tour of the garden of medical and aromatic plants, the orchard of fruit trees and the vegetable plot. We will discover smells and flavours of Susafa, learning also how to use officinalis plants in body care and in the kitchen. The tour lasts about 30 minutes.

A full immersion class about the Sicilian culinary tradition: the experience starts in our garden where we harvest fresh, organic, seasonal ingredients, to be used to prepare traditional recipes to compliment our homemade pasta. For lunch, in addition to the Chef’s suggestion, you will taste what you’ve prepared with your own two hands.
After a short break, the class will continue with the making of Sicilian tomato sauce, ‘caponata’ and other traditional recipes.
To complete this culinary experience in a “sweet way”, we will make a dessert using fresh ricotta cheese.
