We of Susafa


Susafa is the result of the will of the Saeli-Rizzuto family, now in their fifth generation as farmers, to preserve and renew the glorious past of peasant culture.

In 2008, Manfredi and Tommaso Rizzuto Saeli undertook a new path with the aim of sharing with the guests of the structure the suggestions and oldest traditions of this family reality, so charged with history. The determination and passion that characterizes them enabled them to create a new way of telling centred around the experience of relaxation and well-being, without omitting a re-evocation of the ancient rituals in a modern key. Always present to convey the spirit and emotions handed down by a family so tied to the land, they are happy to help you discover the magic of Susafa.

The creativity of Manfredi together with his love for particulars can be seen in the details of the interiors, which amaze for their ability to bring past and contemporary tastes together in a skilful blend. His passion for cooking, combined with a reinterpretation of Sicilian tradition through on-site cultivation of the raw ingredients, are tangible in everything that regards nutrition.
